Welcome to EPIC!

All through the Communist era churches in eastern Europe struggled to survive - and like many persecuted churches throughout history, they succeeded.

But now they need help - and that's why EPIC (European Partners In Christ) was founded in 1996. Its aim is to provide struggling Christian churches in eastern Europe with a supportive partner church in the UK, helping with funds and sometimes even with people on the ground to fund and create the buildings and resources that are needed so urgently.

As churches in the former Communist bloc continue to appoint new pastors and ministers to preach the gospel, they need church buildings where new and growing congregations can worship. And in areas still stricken by poverty such buildings are often beyond their reach. As congregations grow, pastors and leaders need the means to minister to their needs - and even the simplest, most ordinary car is usually more than they can afford.

EPIC forges the links between UK and Eastern European churches. We take the lead when money or help are needed. And we make sure that churches and Christian organisations in urgent need are connected with people who are able and willing to help them - in whatever way is necessary.
